Get to Know Grant Delcourt

Grant comes with a depth and breadth of experience in the world of finance. Grant has been in the finance industry for over 26 years. He holds a BA in Economics from the University of British Columbia; he received his CA designation as a tax specialist in 1998. His career began as a Senior Accountant at Grant Thornton, then he moved to KPMG as a Tax Specialist and now serves as a Portfolio Manager with Delcourt Advisory Group, Scotia Wealth Management. His notable skills are in estate planning, strategic Total Wealth Planning and wealth management.

Grant’s stellar leadership strengths shine in the areas of executing efficient processes, strategically building momentum around new ideas and cutting edge developments in wealth management, and applying his “working smarter” focus daily. Grant derives great satisfaction from being productive, with “winning” for his team and clients as the end goal.

If Grant is not influencing the work world, you will find him either enjoying two or three books at a time to resource his work strategies, rocking a high intensity work out on his road bike, or in the pilates studio. He loves time with his family, embellishing the sweet moments that life offers, or driving, “top down”, in his classic orange Torino (The Pumpkin), wind in the hair, family by his side, a little CCR jamming in the background, and a hot Americano to sip on while soaking in all the beauty that surrounds. Grant and Wendy recently purchased their dream home on Okanagan Lake, offering them a slice of paradise.

One passion Grant is planning to perfect is his wake surfing skills on beautiful Lake Okanagan; a 360 is one goal he has in mind for this summer as he has to try and keep up with his two daughters.
